Father’s Day is quickly approaching and I am sure you are still trying to figure out what to get your Dog Dad. Well your in luck I have five suggestions I am hoping you will like. Instead of gifts how about we provide our Dad with a great bonding experience that the whole family can enjoy and create memories together.

  1. Beach Bum

Take your Dad to a dog-friendly beach. I have a list of them on another blog post you can take a look at here: https://www.livingafairytail.com/pet-friendly-beaches-in-florida/ I would suggest setting up a fun picnic with all his favorite snacks & drinks. You can bring a ball and frisbee so you can include your dog in the fun too. If you don’t want to lug all that stuff with you there are some great small businesses you can contact. I have personally used SoFloSettings and they did an amazing job. They truly did a great job and created a space that we truly enjoyed. You can send them a DM through Instagram. http://www.instagram.com/soflosettings . You can also add a charcuterie board through BoardYum. Here is their website: http://www.boardyum.com or you can also find them on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/boardyum .

2. Boujee Dad

If your in the Doral area you can go to Trump National Doral Miami. If your Dad loves to get pampered you can take him to the spa for a massage or a pedicure. If your Dad is not into that don’t worry this hotel also has four unique courses. It includes one of the most iconic courses called the Blue Monster. You can make a whole day out of this experience because they also have restaurants at the property. https://www.trumphotels.com/miami/doral-miami-resorts

3. Live Music Fan

If your Dad is a music lover why not check out this event that happens every Friday night in Fort Lauderdale Beach. It is called Friday Night Sound Waves. You can set up your own chairs and bring your own food and enjoy live music. There also several local restaurants that you can pick up food from. You are even allowed to bring your dogs with you. http://www.myfortlauderdalebeach.com

4. Outdoorsy Dad

Does your dad love to be in the water? Watersports or renting a boat might be a great option for your Dad. You can charter a private social distancing tour starting at $129.95 through http://www.intimatewaterwaytours.com this boat rental is located in Fort Lauderdale. If your Dad prefers watersports you should check out this company called Beach Ventures they offer Seabob snorkel adventures right off the beach of Fort Lauderdale. This company also has options for jet skiing or fish charters. http://www.flbeachventures.com

5. Movie Buff

Does your Dad love seeing movies? If he does taking him to the movies is a great idea especially if they have dining inside of the theater as well. If you want to be really fancy you can rent out the theater and invite some family & friends. Check out: http://www.ipic.com or http://www.cinemark.com

I hope this list inspired you to do something fun with your Dad and don’t forget to take pictures.
