Savannah is known for their beautiful landscapes, well preserved architecture and its history since Savannah is the oldest city in Georgia and one of the first planned city’s in the US. The Kimpton Bice Hotel– is a boutique hotel that is contemporary & chic. It is centrally located in the historic district and walking distance from many landmarks to check out such as River Street, Emmet Park, City Market, Old Savannah Tour, and Savannah Riverboat Cruises. The Drayton Hotel – is a 19th century building in the center of the historic district. The hotel has a luxury feeling while keeping its historic roots. Mansion on Forsyth Park– is known for old-world mansion meets modern amenities. It has a European elegance with a Southern charm. It is located in the historic district and walking distance to many shops, museums, parks and dining. They allow pets up to 60lbs, with a maximum of two dogs per room. The Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront Autograph Collection– it is located in the historic district in the scenic Savannah riverfront. The boutique hotel has a curated art collection, colonial-inspired decor and luxury amenities. The pet-policy is maximum of 1 pet per room that can not exceed 80 pounds. Zunzi’s– is a South African inspired takeout that offers sandwiches, bowls, salads, and wraps. Locals line up to order food from here. http://www.zunzis.com
Treylor Park– is known to be a vintage-chic space with outdoor seating offer Southern comfort eats, cocktails & beer. 115 E Bay Street. http://www.treylorpark.com
Moon River Brewing Company– it is a brewery with its own craft beers on tap, beer garden and American cuisine. They offer a daily happy hour from 4 PM until 7 PM. Husk– is known for Southern Style cuisine. This location is in landmark mansion that has a beautiful porch area for dining. 12 W. Oglethorpe Avenue. http://www.husksavannah.com

Leopold’s Ice Cream– this ice cream shop was founded in 1919 by three brothers from Greece. You will normally find a large line of people lined up to try this ice cream. 212 East Broughton Street. http://www.leopoldsicecream.com/
Art’s Cafe (SCAD building)– offers fast, fresh and healthy options such as smoothies, salads, wraps, meal bars, juices and coffees. 345 Bull Street.
SIGHTSEE
Old Savannah Tours– I highly recommend going on their Hop On/ Hop Off Trolley. It is a pet-friendly trolley and will show you downtown Savannah. They do offer pick ups from hotels. Call ahead to make sure the one you are staying at is one they will pick you up from. http://www.oldsavannahtours.com
Oliver Bentleys Historic Savannah Dog Walking Tour– This is a 90-120 minute guided walking tour through the Historic District. At the end of the tour your pup will receive a bag of treats. http://www.oliverbentleys.com
Fort Pulaski National Monument– welcomes leashed dogs inside of the fort and the grounds. It is a perfect place for a hike. US Highway 80 East.
Skidaway Island State Park– perfect place to visit for a picnic and to check out their hiking trails. It is part of Georgia’s intracoastal waterway. You can watch out for deer, fiddler crabs, racoons, and other wildlife. 52 Diamond Causeway.
Bonaventure Cemetery– is 100 acres which makes it the largest cemetery in Savannah. You will see lots of live oak trees & Spanish moss, stunning sculptures and historic headstones. 330 Bonaventure Road, Thunderbold, GA

River Street – Savannah Riverfront Area– this is a great area to take a walk with your pup. Most shops are pet-friendly and you can find some outdoor dining & pubs in this area.

Old Fort Jackson– is a 207 year old landmark and Georgia’s oldest standing brick fort. They do allow leashed dogs on the site. http://www.chsgeorgia.org
Wormsloe Historic Site– leashed pets are allowed on historic site trails. You will see beautiful views, live oaks and Spanish moss. The Wormsloe’s tabby ruin is the oldest standing structure in Savannah. http://www.gastatepark.org/wormsloe

Forsyth Park– scroll around the largest park in Savannah and it is also the most photographed park. You will get to see their gorgeous fountain.
